W.E.D. Times
This week we are studying the differences between Weathering, Erosion and Deposition. Or as I like to refer to them W.E.D.
Weathering is the breaking down of rock into sediments by wind, water, ice or gravity.
Erosion is the carrying away of sediments by wind, water, ice or gravity.
Deposition is the dropping, or placing, of sediments in a new location.
