Jeremy Fink is not a kid that likes to get in trouble. His sweat smells like peanut butter due to that he is a picky eater and his mom feeds him peanut butter most often.He collects dis-formed candy such as skittles that are combined. He likes to read comic books at his uncles comic store.

Lizzy is Jeremy's best friend. She is one to make things fun. She also makes fun of Jeremy because he is such a goody-two-shoes. In the summer before eighth grade he got his textbooks and did his homework for the year. Lizzy is a mischievous person, she is the opposite of Jeremy in the amount of trouble she gets in.


The setting takes place in New Jersey. Jeremy lives with his mom in downtown apartments.The season is summer.

Jeremy vs. Himself
Jeremy's father left him a box for him to open up on his 13th birthday. The box was hand craven and the lock system was only open able with a certain number of different keys. When the box was sent to Jeremy the keys were not there. They were misplaced by one of his dad's friends. The task is to find the keys before Jeremy turns 13 (that is in 2 weeks).

Exposition: There is a box that is delivered to Jeremy apartment by the mail man.
Rising Action: Jeremy knew that the box was very strong and would not open any other way then with the keys.
Climax: Jeremy opens the box.
Falling Action: When Jeremy reads the letter that was in the box from his father.
Resolution: Jeremy is remembering his father and tears up at the end of the story.
