                                                THEMES

Love and Hate - Robbie loves his grandma Gigi. She is always there to cheer him up, give him courage, and support him. She takes him out to get away from all the mishap going on at the children's home and treats him like an actual person, who exists. Robbie hates his mom because she is the reason why he has to live a cruddy life. He had to grow up without a mother. Without a person to be there to give unconditional love.

Family is everything - Robbie has grown up without the people who should always be there. As he gets older he learns he has other living relatives. His relatives open up and take him in. No matter how weird they are, they are still and always gonna be your family. They are your everything.

                                      RECOMMENDATIONS

I would definitely recommend this book. I think teenagers and up should read it. Especially those who have struggled with family problems similar to the ones in the book. The book tells about many life learning problems and experiences. It's a good book to read when you need to learn how to continue living your life and how to cope with you experiences.
