The site should be running significantly faster now after a much needed server upgrade. Everything on the site should be faster but you’ll probably notice the improvements the most in the newsletter builder.

Sorry about that. We were having some technical problems with the newsletter and profile viewing pages this morning but the site is feeling much better now. Thanks to everyone who wrote in about it. You guys rock!

Holy moly, Google Apps for Domains is slick. This doesn’t affect you, our members, directly but we switched over our backend mail system (for office and support mail, calendars, etc.) to Google Apps for Domains yesterday.

I told the guys I was a little leery about giving Google control of our mail system but it turned out to be completely painless and, so far, it works great. Easy, fast, and free. What more could a guy want from his outsourced email system?
